Edward Pozyn is getting ready for a fresh road trip for Jesus — this time he will be cycling 2 000km from Howick in KwaZulu-Natal to Augrabies Falls and then to Cape Town.
In 2021 the former, veteran Gospel trekker traded his hiking shoes for wheels after he was blessed with a bicycle.
He will embark on his latest cycle journey on March 1, together with Raymond Landman and Graeme Coad.
Raymond, 50, an old friend of Edward, lives at The Ark shelter in Howick. Graeme and Edward met at The Ark where Graeme is a facilitator for Project Exodus which supports people who battle with addictions.
The trio aim to complete their journey in two months, but their main hope and focus will be to pray along the road in towns that have strongholds of drug abuse. Edward said they want to break the spirit of fear and plead the blood of Jesus over towns which desperately need divine intervention.

“Psalm 23 is the Scripture I live by as only by the grace of my God, my Shepherd, is this journey possible,” said Edward.
He said their mission needs sponsors and any help from businesses or individuals would be appreciated. “Some of the things that we are urgently needing are two more bicycles for Raymond and Graeme. We are also needing camping gear for this journey,” he sad.
